The project site encompasses two blocks along Centennial Olympic Park Drive, situated north of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. Each block has been carefully designed to incorporate three distinct architectural styles, ensuring the preservation of the neighborhood's character while facilitating a seamless transition in massing as it descends the hill.
My role in this project involved the development of interior architecture and design, alongside the selection, specification, and procurement of all furniture. Additionally, I coordinated with a photographer to ensure effective visual representation.
The Kessler
Prairie Village, KS
The Kessler is part of the 136-acre Meadowbrook Park plan and offers 282 luxury apartments, including studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units. It is next to an 84-acre neighborhood park and has features like controlled building access and a parking garage for residents. Amenities include a clubhouse, 24-hour gym, walking trails, a private dining room, outdoor grills, seating areas, and a community garden.
My role in this project involved the development and documentation of interior architecture and design, finish and plumbing selections, alongside the selection, specification, and procurement of all furniture and custom lighting.
The Inn at Meadowbrook
Prairie Village, KS
The Inn at Meadowbrook is a 54-room boutique hotel located in the Meadowbrook Park area, which is a designed, walkable neighborhood and public park. Its English Cottage Style architecture offers views of the park and nearby ponds. The inn includes a breakfast café, a restaurant with outdoor dining, a grand lobby, fitness facilities, and a courtyard pool. The interior is elegantly designed with modern comforts for today’s travelers, creating a unique and charming experience that reflects the essence of Meadowbrook Park in Kansas City.
My role in this project involved the development and documentation of interior architecture and design, finish and plumbing selections, alongside the selection, specification, and procurement of all furniture and custom lighting. These tasks also extend to the design and development of the restaurant and cafe design and coordination with kitchen consultants.
